Where does the money go?

Every student deserves the opportunity to pursue higher education. This year we gave out 13 scholarships totaling over $33,000 to make sure students in our community are able to.

Melissa is shown here, with her fellow camper and Israeli counselor at Crane Lake Camp, made possible by a grant from the Foundation. It is run with sleep-away camp style fun and busy days full of activities and Jewish learning, all nestled in the Berkshire mountains of Massachusetts.

Brownstein Jewish Family Services

Food insecurity continues to be a big challenge in our community. Last year we fielded over 100 inquiries for food assistance. We distributed $20,000 worth of grocery gift cards and/or grants for holiday food to our community.

Study Abroad in Israel

Take a class on top of Mt. Masada after a sunrise hike (pictured above), tour Jerusalem and fully immerse yourself in Israeli culture and Jewish heritage through study abroad in Israel made possible by scholarships from the Foundation. Help a young adult foster their Jewish identity by sending them to Israel.
