Tuesday evening, Lev and I attended Men's Night Out, hosted by Hatzalah of Waterbury. We had a wonderful evening. Everyone we met was welcoming, engaging, and appreciative that the Federation was there. A special thank you to Chaim Gewirtzman for helping foster this important relationship.

Many people don't realize that the vast majority of Hatzalah’s emergency calls are for the broader community, not exclusively for Jewish residents. Their volunteers respond throughout the region—including Southbury, Woodbury, and surrounding communities—providing lifesaving care whenever they are needed.

Through that extraordinary service, Hatzalah also strengthens the relationship between the Jewish community and our neighbors. Every emergency response demonstrates Jewish values in action and leaves a lasting positive impression.

Thanks to your generosity, the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut was proud to help purchase a Hamilton-T1 Ventilator. The Hamilton- T1 is a compact intensive care transport ventilator that provides automated ventilation for both adults and pediatric patients., a lifesaving piece of equipment that is rarely found on ambulances.
