On July 17, 2025, Jewish Federation of Western CT Regional Security Advisor Michael Shanbrom joined a Hate Crimes Community Meeting in Danbury, CT.

Led by the CT Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, CT State Police Hate Crimes Unit, CT State’s Attorney’s Office, and Danbury Police Department, the program focused on the identification, reporting, and investigation of state hate crimes.

The Federation remains committed to working with community partners and law enforcement to help keep our community safe.
