As part of our continued commitment to dignity, care, and community, the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut recently donated 50 Dignity Grows Bags each filled with personal hygiene essentials to two vital local agencies serving individuals in need.

At the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, Cathy Conti was welcomed by staff members Iwona Zebrowski, Samantha Conway, and Cheryl Guetens. The donation will help patients access basic care items often overlooked during treatment. The Center offers an integrative, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
At the Susan B. Anthony Project, Federation’s Cathy Conti joined Tina DePaul, Business Development Associate, to deliver the bags. The organization provides free crisis and support services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Northwest CT. The staff was deeply grateful for the donation, which will directly support their clients’ everyday needs.
Together, we’re helping restore dignity one bag at a time!
