It was an honor to join representatives of JFACT!

It was an honor to join representatives of Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut-JFACT and Jewish leaders from across Connecticut for a thoughtful discussion with Connecticut State Comptroller Sean Scanlon about the growing challenge of antisemitism and the importance of supporting Jewish communities throughout our state!

The conversation addressed the rise in antisemitic incidents, the experiences of Jewish students in our schools, and ways state leaders can help ensure every individual feels safe, respected, and supported.

What stood out most was Comptroller Scanlon's willingness to listen. He asked thoughtful questions, took careful notes, and made it clear that he values an ongoing dialogue with the Jewish community.

Building stronger communities starts with listening, understanding, and working together.

We are grateful for leaders who are willing to engage in these important conversations and remain committed to confronting antisemitism while fostering a more inclusive future for all.
