On April 17, 2025, Jewish Federation of Western CT Regional Security Advisor Michael Shanbrom conducted a site visit at the JCC in Sherman, CT.

The visit focused on reviewing the implementation of federally funded Nonprofit Security Grant Program improvements, offering guidance on process enhancements, and discussing community-wide security training opportunities.

Federation remains committed to ensuring the safety of Jewish institutions across Western CT.
