On March 5, 2025, Michael Shanbrom, the Regional Security Advisor (RSA) for the Jewish Federation of Western CT, led a Countering Active Threats training at Yeshiva K’Tana of Waterbury (YKW). This important, federation-sponsored session equipped 40 participants with life-saving skills to effectively plan for and respond to potential community threats.
