The mission of the grantee: To offer Jewish students a connection to their Jewish roots and to literally and figuratively “meet students where they are” on their Jewish journey. Storrs, CT.
The purpose of the grant funding will allow UConn Hillel FYSH (First Year Students of Hillel) an early move-in and retreat programs will allow for more student engagement which is especially critical as students today struggle with mental health concerns and loneliness.
"UCONN Hillel serves Jewish undergraduate and graduate students, Hillel is the Center for Jewish life at the University of Connecticut. They strive to serve students at all 5 UConn campuses."
