The Federation provides funding to support social services, educational and medical organizations in Israel generally, and particularly in our partnership region of Afula-Gilboa. In addition, because we believe that all Jews are responsible for one another wherever they may be, we endeavor to support Jewish communities in need elsewhere as well, including in the Former Soviet Union. Some of the institutions we have supported over the years include Keren Or, Leket Israel, Lamerhav, Matzmichim (Sprouts), JAFI (Jewish Agency for Israel) – Youth Futures Afula, Joint Distribution Committee, The Malki Foundation, World ORT, Inc., and Aleh Dental Clinic.

 
Funding for these Israel and International Grants are made available through the generosity of several funds of the Federation’s Endowment including the Sophie, Joseph, and Mark Brinker Fund.
