We are humbled to introduce you to the Afghan refugee family we have been assisting since last Summer, when the father (Wali), mother (Whaheeda) and youngest son (Kermatullah) arrived. On January 26, 2025, the older son, Rabie, arrived with his three sisters Faiza, Husnia and Husai.  This photo, which I think was taken by the younger son, is in the three bedroom house that NSM rented for the family, in Bristol CT. We are beyond grateful that the family is now reunited and able to begin their new lives in this strange new land. Our team is busy assisting with obtaining clothing, filing for DMV learners permits, arranging medical appointments, ESL, enrolling in education programs, finding employment - attempting to walk beside these wonderful people as they find their way.
