New FBI data shows Jews have been targeted in about 15% of religion-based hate crime incidents so far this year, far outpacing the 2% each recorded for Sikhs and Muslims and 1% for Arabs. Since Jews make up roughly 2.4% of American adults, the figures suggest they are being targeted at more than five times the rate their population share would predict. The majority of these incidents involved property destruction or vandalism, followed by intimidation and assault.
