A 23-year-old from East Meadow pleaded guilty to a hate-crime felony after spray-painting phrases such as “Zionism is Nazism” and “Free Palestine” on fences and the sidewalk outside the Beth‑El Jewish Center in April 2024. When he failed to complete the required bias-prevention training and community service, the plea deal was voided and he was sentenced to four years’ probation.
