We brought together people from across the region, Waterbury to Danbury, Woodbury to Washington Depot.
Some call their sacred spaces Temple, some Synagogue, and some Shul, but for this morning, we were one community under one roof.
This was the largest turnout for this event in recent memory, and the energy was unmistakable: new interest, new engagement, a new vibe.
We were proud to recognize six leadersno, t of JFED itself, but of their own communities:
UJC Danbury
B’nai Israel Danbury
Yeshiva Ktanah Waterbury
B’nai Israel Southbury
The Coalition in Washington Township
These leaders remind us that JFED is only as strong as the partners we work alongside.
Keynote speaker Rabbi Menachem Creditor inspired us all with words that transcended background and denomination, reminding us of our shared strength and purpose.
He spoke to the heart of what it means to build community in today’s world, how Jewish life flourishes when we come together, honor our differences, and lean into the values that unite us. His message was both timeless and timely, urging us to see beyond our individual circles and recognize the power we hold when we act collectively.
Your JFED brought friends and supporters together in one place, at one time. This is core to our mission. Thank you for showing up, for celebrating with us, and for making this campaign kickoff unforgettable.
