The Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut was founded in 1949. All of our programs and services are open to the entire community, regardless of faith. Over the years we have helped over 250,000 Jewish and non-Jewish people in our area which stretches from Torrington to greater Waterbury, greater Southbury, greater Danbury and the Litchfield Hills, and includes our partnership region of Afula-Gilboa in Israel.

We are proud to be part of the Jewish Federations of North America, which is a nationwide humanitarian network that serves millions of Jews and non-Jews everyday around the world. The Jewish Federation network includes 157 Federations and 400 network communities.
