The books and CDs have been carefully selected by children’s literature and music experts, with a focus on Jewish stories, heritage and values that do not carry any particular denominational slant. 8 Mondays from 4 to 6 Beginning January 11

Class cost $85.00 plus materials fee $20.00

Classes will build skill levels in figure drawing, black and white acrylic, cartoon and comic strip. Participants will improve their use of watercolors, colored pencils and charcoals. One class entitled Drawing The Chair addresses the basics of 2 point perspective. There will be a spring session also so anyone interested in attending these classes is encouraged to call even if class has begun. We will schedule another set of classes should we get more participants.

MosaicsIntroduction To Mosaics

8 Wednesdays beginning March 3 6:00 to 9:00pm

Have you ever wondered how those beautiful mosaics you see in the museums were made? Joanna Micknak will show you. History and art are combined by Joanna in this wonderful 8 week class. You will review the mosaic color palette while learning the importance of tile shape and the laying of the tesserae. During the classes you will be creating your very own 12x12 classic mosaic piece. Class size is limited to 8 to allow for individual attention. Your prepaid registration must be in by Friday, February 26. There will be no class on Wednesday, March 31.
