A. Charitable Bequests

B. Charitable Gift Annuity
- Divide immediate payments to beneficiaries
- claim charitable income deduction
- possibility for spreading Charitable Gains tax over your lifetime
C. Charitable Remainder Trust
When you transfer assets to a CRT, you:
- avoid capital gains tax if you transfer appreciated assets
- receive income for life (or specified years) or provide income to another (gift tax applies if the income payment is made to a second beneficiary)
- create a legacy in your name
- receive an immediate income tax deduction for the present value of your gift to Foundation if the Trust is created during your lifetime
- receive a future estate deduction, if the provision to the Foundation is made in your estate plan
- benefit from the management capabilities of the Foundation
- create a fund in your name, upon the death of the last beneficiary when the remaining trust assets are given to the Foundation
D. Donor Advised Funds
When you to set up a Donor Advised Fund, you:
- may recommend distribution to Jewish (local, national, Israel, world-wide) or local non-Jewish charities
- qualify for immediate income tax deduction and recommend distribution present or future
- obtain expert money management and administrative services from Foundation at a one percent fee
- honor your family or a loved one by naming the Fund in his/her honor
- provide the opportunity for your children to recommend distributions from the Fund
- may use cash, real estate or securities
